Formerly, Ruth was a singer/songwriter and recording artist on BMG/Jupiter Records and has headlined tours in Russia, Lithuania, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Siberia for a total of 9 times. The tours sold millions of tickets and Ruth donated all of her proceeds to aid the 40,000 Armenian Earthquake victims left homeless by their devastating quake in 1989. As a songwriter, Ruth penned a gold single for Randy Crawford and has songs in several movies starring Julia Roberts, Faye Dunaway, Christina Applegate, Jonathan Schaech and Molly Ringwald.

Ruth has a long-standing commitment to charitable, philanthropic, and international associations. She has served on boards and been active in organizations including: KidsCharities.org, Feed The Children, Wheels for Humanity and Angels on Earth. She is the recipient of Russia's top honor as Woman of the Year which was presented to her at a ceremony on March 6 - International Women's Day at the Duma Parliament House in Moscow.

Ruth is an accomplished cook, speaks fluent Bavarian and is a hobby songwriter. She is 47 and lives at the beach in LA with her husband Martin Nethercutt and their 4 orange cats Yahoo, Google, Thelma and Louise.
